Epic Data Appoints Alex Sventitsky as Vice President, Sales

VANCOUVER, B.C., - Epic Data International Inc. (TSX-V: EKD), a provider of data collection, material management and manufacturing visibility solutions, today announced the appointment of Mr. Alex Sventitsky to the position of Vice President, Sales effective immediately. Mr. Sventitsky brings over 25 years of manufacturing solution sales and business development experience to Epic Data.

As Vice President, Sales, Mr. Sventitsky will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's sales organization. Mr. Sventitsky brings a good understanding of the manufacturing industry, in particular aerospace, defense and heavy equipment - the company's primary target markets.
Prior to joining Epic Data, Mr. Sventitsky held the position of Director of Global Strategic Sales at Invensys Wonderware, a provider of industrial automation software solutions. While at Invensys Wonderware, Mr. Sventitsky's team grew revenue by over 40 percent as well as improved customer satisfaction metrics with a number of the company's largest customers, including Daimler-Benz, Porsche, Phillips, Nestlé, Chevron, Mars, General Mills and many others.
Mr. Sventitsky has also held senior management positions at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as well as at IBM Corporation. Mr. Sventitsky worked with a variety of aerospace and high technology customers including Hughes Satellite, Cascade Corporation, Tri-Star Electronics, TRW, Seagate and Cisco Systems. Mr. Sventitsky earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley and a MBA from the California State University, Hayward .
