This one-hour event was broadcasted simultaneously to Aerospace and Defense companies throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. It includes four presentations from experts on UID implementation.
It begins with a presentation from the Deputy Program Manager for UID, Robert Leibrandt, that outlines the goals and timelines for the UID initiative, as well as the benefits the DoD will realize from the ability to uniquely identify and track its assets.
This is followed by a presentation from Mr. Quinn of Lockheed Martin I-GUIDES who covers best practices for UID data management and the way the I-GUIDES solution facilitates them.
Next, Mr. Harfman of Epic Data International talks about best practices for UID implementation. His presentation also outlines how manufacturers can comply with DoD requirements and benefit internally from their UID infrastructure at the same time.
The presentation from Mr. Lewis of L3 Communications goes over a case study on the company's approach to UID implementation after which he provides his recommendations to manufacturers in the early stages of their UID journey.
The webinar concludes with a Q&A session, in which participants have their questions answered by the UID expert panel.
